A hand-poured worm with a ribbed body and a broad, curved tail. The 7-inch Thumper gives a worm rig a pronounced tail shape and more overall presence than a straight finesse worm or the Treat Worm.

Where this profile fits
The Thumper is the larger worm option to consider when a broad curved tail is part of the presentation you want. Choose it alongside the Treat Worm by looking at the tail shape as well as the overall length. A larger curved appendage and a tapered end give different outlines behind the same style of worm rig.
Match hook gap and body placement before adding a weight or selecting a bulk quantity. If you want a longer worm but a narrower trailing profile, compare the Treat Worm. If the entire setup needs to become smaller, move to one of the compact finesse worms rather than only changing tail style.
Rig options for 7" Thumper Worm
Carolina rig
Keeps the long worm and curved tail behind a separate weight.
Shaky head
An option when the head, hook, and larger body fit together without crowding the tail.
Can it be used as a trailer?
Possible on a larger moving jig, but a long worm is a situational trailer. Check how much plastic extends beyond the hook; an ST Grub is a shorter curly-tail alternative.

Why choose it over a straight worm?
Choose the Thumper for its broad curved tail and larger outline. Choose the Treat or Finesse Worm when a straighter, narrower profile better fits the rig.
Why might the photo show a different number of baits?
Images may not reflect actual pack quantity. Use the selected pack's stated bait count when ordering. Each pack contains one selected color.
