Where this profile fits
The Leech gives the finesse group a longer, segmented outline. Choose it when you want more body length on a drop shot or light head than either Reaper supplies, while staying with a flat-tailed leech-style shape rather than changing to a curly-tail worm.
Length behind the hook matters on a trailer as well as on a standalone rig. If the Leech extends farther behind a small jig than you intended, compare the 3.75-inch Reaper. If you want to keep the overall length but change to a narrow worm silhouette, compare the Bot Worm.
Rig options for 4.25" Leech
Light jig head
Match the hook to the body without reaching too far into the flat tail.
Light Carolina or split-shot rig
Pairs the slender bait with a separate weight for bottom-oriented presentations.
Can it be used as a trailer?
A situational finesse-jig trailer when extra length and restrained movement are useful. Check the overall length behind the hook; choose a shorter Reaper if the bait extends too far past the jig.
